General Contracting

The GC role allows us the greatest opportunities to showcase that we are builders in the truest sense. We have self-perform capabilities for numerous work scopes and typically self-perform work on every project. The GC delivery method most often is a design bid build arrangement, where we and the design team contract directly but separately with the Owner. It is crucial to develop a trust among the team and even though it is overly used cliché – a partnering team approach is the goal. Assembling the team of subcontractors, suppliers, and skilled trades workers, as well as the management staff best suited for the specific project is critical to success.

Preconstruction – getting off to a good start is critical to the process. Organized approach with tested and proven methods to get the project moving in the right direction from day one.
Project Management – development of specific goals and strict deadlines for every team member – accountability towards a collaborative effort.
Execution – hands on and constantly looking ahead, attention to detail, strict quality control, cost control, and schedule.
Safety – providing a safe and secure work environment – we approach safety from a moral viewpoint.

Construction Management

The CM role typically allows even greater opportunity for our partnership approach. The contractual arrangement among the parties varies, but the Owner benefits from the early collaboration between design and construction team. Understanding the owner’s goals relative to every project aspect – functionality, aesthetics, budget, timeframe, and even the impact on the community.

Our CM role in the construction phase varies depending on an Owner’s preference and the predetermined risk management arrangement. The CM delivery approach provides the Owner with various options relative to risk.

Design Build

This service provides clients with a single source responsibility for their construction projects, where we are integral to the entire process. The Design Build concept has increased in popularity, primarily because an owner can single source our service to streamline and control design selection, construction costs, and implement the most economical approach. Our Design Build role is very similar to our CM role, except that we contract directly with the design team.
